DEVOTION
- “A truly unique vision of hardcore-influenced rock… downtuned swamp riffery of Crowbar filtered through Soundgarden-er Kim Thayill’s wah pedal, with a bruising ’90s hardcore undercurrent informing its stompier moments.”
[Ex + Current Members of: Go It Alone. Not Sorry. ON.]
ELDERS
- Melody driven hardcore from one of the best up and coming bands in the Minnesota scene. Think early Rise Records bands like It Prevails fused with the gloomy tones of post Jane Doe era Converge.
ADVOCATE
- Melodic hardcore in the vein of early Rivalry Records bands like Verse, Killing the Dream, and Go It Alone with hints of influence from the recent Midwestern revival of the classic NYHC style.

“It is time to call it quits. It’s been an amazing journey and we feel very lucky to have been able to do this again. Our final two shows will be Krazy Fest and the Harvest show in July in Minneapolis. Thank you to everyone who has supported us now and in the past. Going out on a high note.”
Twin Cities Hardcore would like to formally thank Disembodied for being a band again for a little over two years. It was great having you back for a bit! We look forward to anything you folks jam out in the future as we will always support your projects.

Happy New Year!
January 5th, 2011Welcome to 2011 everyone! This year started off nicely with a show featuring an all local line up for Venia’s record release. New Year’s Resolutions should include increasing attendance at shows by inviting everyone you can think of and encouraging them to come out.
One of Jim’s New Year resolutions is to write a weekly editorial piece for the website called Bands You Should Know. It will even include a download link to the record. He has put up the first one for Warzone – go read it!
Coming up soon is a Sick Of It All show at the Triple Rock Social Club. Alpha & Omega had to unexpectedly drop the tour and so Mother Of Mercy has taken their place. Local band Getting Even will be on Out of Step radio show this weekend talking about the show and a multitude of other entertaining topics. Check out the Facebook invite for more info, flyer, and more: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=145699772147904
Another show to be excited about and invite people to is Bitter End, Hardside, Power Trip, and Venia at The Beat Coffeehouse in Uptown Minneapolis on Saturday, March 12. Invite people: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=140384059352989
